Dear Parent/Guardian,
As a result of a policy change adopted by the Everett School Committee, the Everett Public Schools Residency Policy requires that all students in the district entering grade 6 for the 2024-2025 academic year, as well as all students entering Everett High School grade 9, will be required to re-establish residency. As a parent/guardian of a child/student entering grade SIX or NINE, you are required to re-establish residency and provide the requested information prior to August 31, 2024.
You will need to submit one from each category:
Category 1: Evidence of Residency |
Category 2: Evidence of Occupancy |
Recent mortgage payment or Property tax bill OR Copy of lease and recent rental receipt OR
Residency Certification (provided by City Clerk’s office and recent rental receipt), OR Section 8 or Housing Agreement |
One of the following bills dated within the past 30 days for an Everett address with name: ● Excise Tax ● Electric ● Gas ● Home Telephone (no cellular) |
You have many options to submit your paperwork.
❖ Option 1: You can mail copies of your paperwork to Everett High School, 100 Elm Street, Everett, MA 02149.
❖ Option 2: You can fax your paperwork to 617-544-6023.
❖ Option 3: You can take clear pictures of your paperwork and email them to [email protected].
❖ Option 4: You can attend one of the registration drop-in sessions listed on page 2. A staff member will be present to assist with the re-enrollment process and answer any questions you may have.
Students will not be registered to attend the Everett Public Schools if the process has not been completed prior to the August 31st, 2024, deadline. If you have any questions related to the process, please call the Parent Information Center at 617-544-6955 or email [email protected].
