Strong Emotions at the Webster Extension
Webster Extension faculty and staff are pictured with visiting nurse Maureen Strong, who has become an invaluable member of the team and a great resource for our pre-kindergarten families. Nurse Strong is fighting her second battle with breast cancer, and, as the photos above illustrate, her Webster Extension colleagues — including paraprofessional Lauriany Vieira — are supporting her every step of the way.

Math for Math Teachers
Allie Lea, a mathematics interventionist from the Madeline English School, presented at a conference for Heinemann Publishing titled "Supporting Differentiation with Math Resources.” Ms. Lea walked participants through Everett's implementation of the Do the Math curriculum program in math intervention groups during W.I.N. blocks, showed them the benefits of the program, and even played one of the curriculum games with them as an example of the level of engagement we are seeing while using the program. Thank you to Ms. Lea for representing our district at this event. Additional thanks to Director of Tier II Mathematics Jacqueline Fallon for sharing these photos and information.
